What is the meeting place and time?
We invite you to arrive 30 minutes early to give you time to greet your loved ones.
Why is it essential to carry an ID?
For those who have them, residence permits and Schengen visas are also essential.
How to go to Morgins ?
By car from Switzerland / from Geneva Airport
1. Take the A1 motorway towards Lausanne until you reach the Villars-Ste-Croix interchange.
2. Continue on the A9 until exit 18 / St-Triphon.
3. Follow the signs to Morgins. In the village, continue straight until you see the church on your right and the parking lot on your left.
By car from France
Same route as from Switzerland.
Alternative route via the south of Lake Geneva:
Drive to Thonon-les-Bains via the D1005.
Continue through Vinzier, Chevenoz, Vacheresse, Bonnevaux, Abondance, La Chapelle d’Abondance, and Châtel.
Cross the Swiss border and proceed to Morgins.
In Morgins, continue straight until you see the Church on your left and the parking on your right.

How to reach L'Escale?
How to reach L’Escale?
L’Escale is primarily accessible by cable car. We will provide your tickets for the lifts.
Please leave your cars in the village of Châtel, in the parking lot which is 5 minutes from the cable car.
The journey from the ceremony location in Morgins to the parking in Châtel takes about 15 minutes.
You can unload your luggage directly at the cable car, then go back to park your vehicle at the underground parking of the Church.
Can I park at L'Escale?
For several reasons, NO:
- The path to L’Escale is not suitable for a standard vehicle.
- The parking area behind L’Escale is very small (2-3 vehicles maximum).
- We provide you with cable car tickets.
Please park your vehicle in the underground parking of the Church, in the village of Châtel. Parking costs 6€ for one day and 10€ for two days.
Are the Church and L'Escale accessible to people with reduced mobility?
Unfortunately, not directly, but we are sure that some strong men would be happy to show off their muscles by helping you.
I would like to come by car but I don't have one.
Please let us know through the response form. We will try to find a solution.
Lodging
Can we stay at L'Escale ?
For those staying on-site, a brunch will be served on Sunday morning.
Please indicate if you would like to take advantage of this in the response form.
Are animals welcome ?
No, no animals will be tolerated, even if they are very nice, cute, etc.
The size of the animal does not matter.
Can I participate in the brunch if I am not staying at L'Escale?
As a general rule, no.
You can contact us if you have a special need.
At what time can I check in?
L’Escale will have the rooms available from 3 PM.
Therefore, check-in will take place after the procession, upon arrival at L’Escale.
Can I stay at L'Escale already on Friday?
We do not have a specific agreement for Friday.
If you book Friday night through another channel (L’Escale’s website / booking.com / etc.), it would still be best to inform us, and to inform L’Escale during your booking. This might prevent you from having to change rooms.

What is the dress code for the wedding?

What type of food will be served at the wedding?
There will likely be seafood and/or meat.
If you have dietary restrictions, please do not hesitate to fill out the response form mentioning any allergies or intolerances.

Will it be an open bar?
Yes, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks will be served (free of charge).
Please drink responsibly to fully enjoy the evening.
Any damage will be charged by L’Escale, including in your rooms.

To celebrate our union, we prefer unforgettable memories over traditional gifts.

A safe will also be available at L’Escale.
